Frequently Asked Questions
What are your rates?
My rate for a 45-50 minute session is $195 USD.
Do you accept insurance?
I am not paneled with any insurance plans. This means you are responsible for paying for your sessions. You may have “out-of-network” benefits through your insurance company, which may cover a portion of my fees. I can provide you with a “superbill” which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
I encourage you to contact your insurance company about your benefits before starting treatment if you have cost concerns.
How long does treatment take?
This depends on several factors, including severity of symptoms, motivation and insight. However, the average length of treatment is approximately 4-6 months.
How often do we meet?
This depends on the severity of the symptoms, but once per week is standard. If you require more intensive care, such as two or three sessions per week, we can discuss this more during your intake session.
When are you available?
I see clients Monday through Friday. Since I am in Canada, I am three hours ahead of most of my clients. I will do my best to accommodate your schedule, but evening hours can be tricky.
Please let me know if you have limited availability and I will refer you to a trusted colleague if needed.
Do you see clients in person?
I see clients online exclusively. If this becomes an option in the future, I will inform you.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for 24-hours notice if you need to cancel a session. This allows me enough time to offer the spot to another client who may need it. My fee for a missed session or late cancellation is the full session rate.
